  • We will send you a link to our online application form for you to complete.
  • We will then contact your agency.
  • Your documents will be checked and you will be asked to sign a Contract of Employment.
  • Assignment details received from your agency will be sent to you to check and approve.
  • You will receive an activation link to the payslip portal confirming your set up is complete as an employee on our system.

1 – You will be issued a link to our portal – it will say ‘Portal Credentials‘ – click on the link and TYPE not copy and paste the temporary password that you are given, then set your own password. You will be taken to a confidentiality agreement and an application form to input your details for us. (Please note the link to the portal is sent at the same time as an email; please check your spam or junk folders in case it has been swept there). If you are unable to upload a proof of ID, NI number, and address to the portal, you can email clear photos to contractorcare@charterismanagement.com. For proof of address, a recent bank statement or letter is preferable showing the sort code and account number of which you wish us to pay into; this will ensure that the details we have for you are correct in case of type errors, which can occur on the application.

2 – Once your application is completed we will contact your agency to get things set up for payment to us as your umbrella company.

3 – Once we have checked the details you will be asked to log back into the portal and be directed to a contract of employment which you can just click on 3 boxes to accept and sign electronically.

4 – When your agency sends us details of your assignment, we will email this to you for you to check and make sure that the rates and dates are as you agreed.

We will become your employer and you will be covered by our EL PL and PI insurances (although if you are a doctor or a nurse you will need your own PI cover which usually is provided if you are a member of a union).

If you have ended a job with another umbrella company or agency, please send us your P45 or request a New Starter Form from us so that we can ensure your tax code is assigned correctly.
